ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS
(BOTULINUM TOXIN)
Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine (POM) and can be prescribed for cosmetic purposes by a Doctor/Dentist, or Nurse/Midwife/Pharmacist Independent Prescriber. This should be following a face-to-face consultation. It has been used for many years for a variety of medical conditions such as migraine, muscular spasms and bladder issues. Nowadays, It’s probably better known by its most famous brand name and its use for the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles. SERVICES AND PRICING
I can temporarily inhibit muscle activity by administering precise injections of botulinum toxin into specific facial muscles, effectively reducing the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. Many individuals express concern regarding the forehead, frown lines, and eye region. Each injection is meticulously targeted to specific points, ensuring temporary immobilisation of the targeted muscles. During the consultation process and before treatment, clients are sometimes apprehensive about appearing overly rigid ("frozen") and prefer a more natural outcome. Your treatment plan is always collaboratively discussed and agreed upon during the individual consultation, emphasising informed consent and shared decision-making as fundamental principles of my practice.
3 AREAS - £285
This is by far the most popular treatment. It includes treating areas of the upper and mid-face with anti-wrinkle injections for a smoother, more relaxed appearance to the frown, forehead and crow’s feet (smile lines). In addition, other areas of the face can also be treated and may include a brow lift, nasal "bunny" lines, perioral/top lip lines (smokers lines), a downturned smile, "gummy" smile and "pebble" chin. Each of these additional areas are charged at £50 when having 3 other areas treated.
2 AREAS - £225
Typically, this includes the frown and forehead. Both areas are treated together to complement each other. The aim is to temporarily reduce movement to the muscles which control the frown and forehead. However, you may choose to treat the eye area and frown instead, or opt for a combinations of 2 areas such as a brow lift, "bunny" lines, "gummy" smile, downturned smile or "pebble" chin. It is generally not advised to treat the forehead without injecting the frown as well though.
1 AREA - £185
When treating an individual area this usually relates to the crow’s feet (smile lines) of both eyes. Alternatively, you may wish to just treat your frown. Additional areas which can be treated alongside the crow’s feet or frown include; "bunny" lines, perioral/top lip lines, downturned smile, "gummy" smile, "pebble" chin or a brow lift. Each of these additional areas are charged at £50 when having 1 area treated.
UNDERARM SWEATING - £385
An advanced Botulinum Toxin technique. The product is injected into the armpits to reduce excessive sweating. Great if you are self conscious about sweat stains on your clothing.
WIDE JAW/MASSETER MUSCLES - £285
Sometimes referred to as jaw slimming; the masseter muscles can occasionally become over developed giving a squarer appearance to the face. These muscles can be injected with Botulinum Toxin to soften the width of the jaw.
PLATYSMAL BANDS/NECK LIFT - £285 TO £385 (FOLLOWING CONSULTATION)
Botulinum toxin is employed to address platysmal bands in the neck, aiming to diminish the prominence of these structures, particularly noticeable during movements such as jaw protrusion, downward smiling, or expressing surprise (“eek”). Additionally, treatment may extend to the corners of the mouth and the mentalis (chin muscle) to provide an overall lift to the area, sometimes termed a Nefertiti Neck Lift. Prior to treatment, a comprehensive consultation is essential to evaluate suitability, and costs may vary accordingly.

Matt Sheldon-Baker (MSB!)
Since 1999, I've worked as a registered nurse; I'm also a qualified independent prescriber and maintain registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the UK's regulatory authority for nurses and midwives. With over two decades of experience, I've held senior clinical positions within the NHS, primarily in acute care and emergency medicine.
I work full-time as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within the NHS while completing a master's degree. My fascination with aesthetics led me to undergo specialised training in injectables and botulinum toxin in London, allowing me to expand beyond my traditional clinical domain and leverage my existing medical and nursing expertise. I exclusively use leading brand products to ensure optimal results, and I am fully insured, offering a comprehensive review for all patients approximately two weeks post-treatment.
My goal is to instil a sense of confidence and satisfaction in every client. Having devoted my entire career to the welfare of NHS patients, I bring the same level of dedication to my aesthetics practice.
